Problem Breifing

Current days, people live in fast pace. There are different kinds of well-designed greeting cards on the shelf, they are pretty and of high quality, but the time we spend on writing greeting cards decreased. Time is more valuable than money, and how much time we would like to spend with/on someone shows how important s/he is in our heart.

Each friend is important and unique in my heart, what if I make a greeting card that is special for each of them?

So I started it and fell in love with it.

I drew the cartoon version of them on the cover, add decorations that fit their personalities. I kept them simple, only black and white, as I believe in the values of simplicity, moderation and humility. There are so many possibilities with a piece of paper and a black pen. I have tried portrait and landscape, different folding methods, and layouts.

There are a few rules that I stick to, so all the cards share a little bit in common, and this common bit is 'me', who link these cards (friends) together. My intention is also to make the cards look like a series and clearly branded.  

I want to express my care to my friends and value our friendships through designing and making these cards.
